There is a rather pleasant young women called Saaniya who posts on BYC. She's training to be a vet in India. She's interested in herbal remedies for certain diseases.
Unfortunately some here don't take her seriously.
I found this article interesting.

Having worked for a veterinarian chiropractor who dispensed a lot of herbal and homeopathic treatments I'm a big believer.

My hubs just recently experienced a nearly life or death MERSA infection. Was hospitalized on heavy duty antibiotics for 5 days. Now I'm terrified for him! If he needs antibiotics for any reason they may be ineffective.
Thanks for posting this article.

Bunny, I haven't seen a picture of your little horses for ever! Is this her Easter parade outfit?

That is her "Blondie the Easter Pony" persona.

What have you done to that poor horse.

Yes, it's ridiculous, but Blondie has certain conformation issues that make more conventional horse jobs out of the question for her. Doing this, she puts smiles on hundreds of faces and helps to save the world from being overrun by carrots.

Thank you Bunny I've been missing that. Didn't she used to be a unicorn or was that another pony?

She has been a unicorn. For the Animal Costume Contest at our local fair, she has been the My Little Pony character Fluttershy, and her alter-ego, Flutterbat. I'm considering a "How to Train Your Dragon" character for this year . . . we'll see.

And this was her at the last Christmas Parade we took part in:

Shad she's a pony

Ohh, that's a hot-button topic, that one. She is a pedigreed (but not registered) Miniature Horse, and while some mini owners might start foaming at the mouth if you called their animals "ponies," if you could do a DNA profile on 'em, most Miniature Horses would show a majority of Shetland blood; some might even be 100% Shetland (as a matter of fact, I know some that are both registered Shetlands and registered Miniature Horses). I'm sure Blondie doesn't care either way, as long as there's a carrot in it for her.

She is completely adorable, and very comfortable and happy being all dolled up like that!

My aunt goes to a fella called voodoo Vern (not sure if she named him or...) But he has almost gotten rid of her allergies and sinus infections (she's 50) that she's had her whole life. I'll never discredit natural remedies without an obvious contradiction.

Hi, Meg, lazy day here. After baseball game got canceled I went and helped the basset people run their field trial then came home and showered, and the Princess and I went out to the steak house for supper. Just finished running lines with her for a play that she is going to be in.
Well, that sounds lovely. Is the princess your granddaughter? I don't mean to presume.

The basset hound trials sound like fun! And can't ever turn down a good steak :)
