"Lucky" for you, huh, Sour?

I wound up getting about 4 showers today, only one of which was intentional.

"Those April showers, they come your way . . . ."

We only got about half an inch of rain today, it just all seemed to be trying to fall at times when I had to be outside.:barnie

'Lucky' on my part is not the half of it. Overly hot, sunny day into the 80's today - last night we were hit with a deluge from above.

@Meg-in-MT the play is called "Cold Stun" an original play written by a member of the group that she is working with. I could never do it unless the director would allow 100 % ad lib. She works hard at lines - they don't come as easily as they once did. I only gave her a 75% tonight (I had to give her lines twice). She was not happy with my review of her performance. :lau

Time for some sunshine, ay? I feel ya, there. Do you guys have a mucky mess or is it okay?

@sourland 80°?? Holy moly, Batman. We had about 50 today and it none too warm. But, hard to complain considering hope rough the winter was. I always complain about the weather :idunno

I can't memorize for beans! Good for her.

And good evening, everyone!

Got fenced fixed on the neighbors today and kicked the cows over there and off of our field. Fingers crossed we won't have to disc and replant. It's a mess.

How was everyone's day?
Hey Meg! We had a productive day here, finished getting the top netting on the duck run so they can start living outside as soon as all their feathers come in! Can't happen soon enough.

Sounds like you had a busy afternoon! What crop did the cows get into?

Good for you!! How nice to get a project accomplished :) What kind of ducks do you have?

We winter them on our alfalfa field. They get kicked down from the corrals after the babies are a few days old. Problem is, we've got more cows and more calves and the field is incredibly wet and full of old hay :(

Yeah, wet fields and old hay, yuck! We have 2 Runner ducks that are 4 weeks old. We made a run and shelter for them and will modify an old dog house to keep them safe at night. The plastic tub is just for the days when they get to be out in their pool.
