IKR? This vet bills himself as an avian vet, but doesn't routinely offer grams stains as a diagnostic tool. I will be taking my birds to the University clinic in the future.

Still an option for this bird if things don't improve. In my opinion you did the right thing in bringing him home. Other than the antibiotics and vitamins he was getting nothing but 'stress' at the clinic.
