Young Bracket has lost her chick.
Not having Blue Spot to hold them together was part of the problem. Punch, while a good rooster has always been in the shadow of Blue Spot.
In this wind it's possible the chick just got blown away. Bracket has been calling but you can't hear yourself think in the wind. Bracket has also been trying to crow. This means something, but I don't know what.
This has not been a good few days and I just feel like gathering up all the tribes, moving them into the house and shutting the door. Maybe we'll come out one day.

You are sure having a lot of issues. Sorry the chick got lost. Hope things start to improve.

It definitely was, thanks!! The hike fun but we got lost and went a little longer than planned. Was just supposed to be a walk in the woods. But oh well, got extra exercise LOL

Try giving him 1 aspirin, if he is more active that day he's painful. Then you know he needs to go to the vet for a pain med 'scrip

So, yeah; he is hurting. Guess it's time to get a schedule going for his pain meds. His life will never be as long as our lives will, every day counts for him and quality of life is the only thing you can give him, but he gives you his very life. Dont let him hurt.
