Ran into the rare and illusive Mylar Bubble-head man while running the dogs this morning. He was meet with great distrust and growls from all.

Yeah, but at least I don't have to 'think' when I'm mowing!

Not thinking is one thing but staying alert while mowing is another!

Decoration Day became Memorial Day. Apparently the first one was thousands of years ago in Greece and was in may too I think

I started Junior college in 1978 and there was a large group of Vietnam Vets still in school under the GI Bill. They were a bit different as students- mostly quite a bit older than the average student

Have you been to the Quilt display in Paducah? I always wanted to go there.

Yes, I have been to the quilt museum there. It's amazing. They have the ones that stay there, but they also bring in quilts from all over the world, so the exhibit changes. The stitching on some of those old quilts looks as good, if not better than if they had been done on a sewing machine. Let's just say their sewing skills were fantastic.
