BYC Café

Thought I’d share updated pics of my birds XD. Ducks have gotten big. Even they little one with a hip deformity and the one whose leg was broken at the store. They have their momma hen Henrietta with them since she was picked on by my big flock. I did lose one more keet a day after the other two but the rest are thriving after a heads on approach for one who had an impacted colon. The older keets are very big and I had to put a wire lid on top. The turkeys are stupid as always.

Not thinking is one thing but staying alert while mowing is another!

We would not want to read about a tragic mowing accident

Not tragic, but a branch swung back and smacked me in the mouth. For a second I thought I knocked our another front tooth, but only ended up with a swollen/bruised lip.

Oh no!

Sometimes smacks like that can mess up the crown though. It might be a good idea to have the dentist check it out well at the next cleaning

Did you go to that one.:p:lol:
:yuckyuck

But Engels says the very first memorial ceremony was held in Athens, Greece, in 431 BC when Pericles offered a funeral oration for the soldiers of the Peloponnesian War. The event was a large-scale public commemoration in which the entire city of Athens participated.

Thanks, Sour. I'll have a cup.
Gorgeous day here.

Ran into the rare and illusive Mylar Bubble-head man while running the dogs this morning. He was met with great distrust and growls from all.

Ouch! Glad you're not seriously hurt. Now you can tell everybody the Princess got fed up & popped you. :hugs

I'm concerned that Bamas not back yet. :hmm Is it possible that she went into the doctor for xrays but they decided to send her up to the mental ward & keep her instead?

What if she slipped out with the birds, couldn't get up because of her wrist & the ducks ate her???

Neither. The land belongs to the Apalachin Fire Department. They used to have Field Days there the first week in June every year. After the 2011 flood, they gave up. Now the site hosts the Tioga County Kennel Club dog show and Tracy's Hope, an annual fund raiser for breast cancer awareness.
I've been running my dogs there since 1996!
