Wonderful coffee this morning Shad! DH & I used to raise meat rabbits when we had a little farm in Florida...if you cook it right, rabbit is delicious! Have to ask you, what is shin? Never heard of it.

My parents were married for 55 plus years before my mother died.

My sister was married for almost 50 yrs. Her husband died 4 days before their anniversary.

That is Quite an achievement!

Thank you. That makes a lot sense. I’ve heard they are pretty hard to keep contained too? Super strong and super smart. Although I guess with a pet maybe that wouldn’t be an issue. I imagine the pet ones are probably quite different? Can’t imagine anyone would have dangerous pigs living with them.

We hot wired the pasture and only had them get out twice. They didn't like getting zapped.

I always tell people to just try a bite and if they don’t like it, I’ll eat it. Explains the weight gain because of my picky brother. I can’t stand to waste food.

That is what chickens are for, to use up left overs.

Awesome! Congratulations to you both. Do you have plans? You do know longevity like that is pretty darn rare?

When the grandkids ask how the Princess and I have made 55 years I tell them to marry someone they like more than anyone else they have ever met in their lives. Looks are nice, sex is great, but 'LIKE' is essential. I really do not feel that age of marriage is a factor, or at least it should not be. Problems arise - that's a fact. It's all about commitment. Sour's thoughts on relationships.
