Be careful what you wish for.
Maybe the goats here are different but the few we had here made Conan The Destroyer look like a complete amateur.

I had always heard about how destructive horses were, but pound for pound, my goats have my horses beat! For example, I had a goat that would stand inside or outside of the barn, repeatedly slamming his head into the walls, apparently just because he could. I wound up installing "butt bars" to try to keep the walls on.

Great movie ! Taron Egerton is a great actor/singer/performer - he becomes Elton John. I have new found empathy for Elton John.

In her book "Weeding out the Tears," Jeanne White mentions the friendship that developed between Elton John and her son, Ryan. Shortly before Ryan's death, she said Elton returned from an impromptu shopping trip with an assortment of tapes, and a portable player. To her surprise, none of the tapes were of Elton's music, and when she asked him about that, he said he wasn't sure that Ryan would want to listen to his stuff. When I read that, Elton John rocketed into my pop star top ten.

All my days are “off” but no work bothers me a bit. Next month we have the 4H fair so I’ll be busy inspecting the animals.

And that definitely makes sense. And that’s good at least!! And sorry. I didn’t mean that in a rude way or that anyone here was doing that or anything. I just meant that I’m sure it must get kind of old hearing all the standard stuff after a while so talking about normal stuff sometimes is probably a bit of a change of pace

See the movie. Taron Egerton 'becomes' Elton John. I left the movie with greater empathy and respect for Elton John.



When the grandkids ask how the Princess and I have made 55 years I tell them to marry someone they like more than anyone else they have ever met in their lives. Looks are nice, sex is great, but 'LIKE' is essential. I really do not feel that age of marriage is a factor, or at least it should not be. Problems arise - that's a fact. It's all about commitment. Sour's thoughts on relationships.

You're absolutely right in my opinion. In my job I see a lot of divorce situations, mostly when the kids are out of school and it seems the couple no longer need each other.

55 years, that's beautiful sour. It's very obvious you love your Princess very much.

Wonderful coffee this morning Shad! DH & I used to raise meat rabbits when we had a little farm in Florida...if you cook it right, rabbit is delicious! Have to ask you, what is shin? Never heard of it.

@Meg-in-MT love that photo! That's a good example of Big Sky country

Shin is the front part of the lower leg of a cow usually. It used to be a poor persons meat for making stews. It does need slow cooking and of course if you buy it on the bone it's a bit fiddly. For flavour though compared to what gets sold as stewing beef it wins hands down
