Afternoon cafe,

Made a fresh pot, help yourselves.

I just got done rekeying some new locks, igor is installing now. I got locked out one day and hadn't taken my phone with me to the store so had to sit outside waiting for him to come home. He went and bought new locks the next day for all the doors.

Had an uninvited guest in my pens this afternoon. Was up against a waterer,...waiting! It's a small one by most standards but still deadly.

Yikes! No thanks. All I found was a king snake trying to eat my bantam cochin hens!

Nope, it's only about 18" and kinda thin, just a baby.

Those are the dangerous ones, they inject a higher % of their venom than large ones.

Good evening, Cafe. Nice and warm here today with a wind that wouldn't quit. Everything is drying up pretty quickly. Praying for an easy fire season.

Went and checked cows and got rid of a couple gophers, cleaned up the house and ma's room... Have yet to go through her stuff but I guess it's not going anywhere. Headed for the nursery tomorrow and hopefully getting the garden in before it's too late.
