And now, for something completely different . . . .

FROGS!

I miss those funny little tree frogs! We used to have them all over in north FL too Bunny. Sure are good bug eaters!

I bumped into a couple of guys from our chicken club. We try to have a topic to talk about when we meet. Next weeks topic is, should they get permission from the pope to keep chickens.:gig
The basis of the topic came up a couple of meetings ago. Bear in mind these are Catholic people, but also farmers with a sense of humor. It was decided that given hens can prevent sperm from fertilizes an egg this in the eyes of the church is contraception which is frowned on by the church.
Also, given a hens tendency to kill chicks while still half hatched if they believe there is something wrong with the chick, this is technically abortion and the church doesn't condone this either.
There is also the small problem of the roosters harem. One of the guys said this wouldn't be a problem for him as he keeps game fowl pairs.
It should be a good meeting.:)

That sounds like a great meeting topic! Take notes and let us know what's decided

For any who would like I brewed a fresh pot.

Grand son is playing on a new team. His old team has expanded to 17 players, and he was to be relegated to 'pitcher only' status. New team may not be as good, but he will get to play more. Last night they won 9/2 and today they lost 10/6.
Thanks for the coffee , but I'll pass right now...too hot to drink coffee.

I hope the new team works out well for your GS! Seems to me it would be more fun to play more.
