BYC Café

Do you can your fruit? I did a bit of that when we had a little place in north FL, but only did vegetables. You could have some really tasty fruity things canned!
I would love to do veggies, as well. I haven't invested in a pressure canner. Did you enjoy canning?

I enjoyed it when I did it. Haven't had the time or the homegrown produce to do it here. But I would love to get back into all that some day! That Ball book you have is the one I learned from, it's very helpful. You'll have to keep me up to date on how it works out for you this fall (so I can drool all over the keyboard)

Late to the Café, but not to coffee. Had an early start today, and now I must mow lawn. Have some of the coffee that I just brewed. :caf

He's won 3 out of 14 trials, and according to the handler should have won a fourth, but you know how handlers are. Although he's a young dog, he's pretty impervious to 'handler error'.

@Shadrach , what you are experiencing is pretty much what I have experienced with multiple hens sharing a nest. It seems to work for some, but for me it always resulted in low % hatches.

Thanks for the fresh pot of joe Sour!

I let it happen a few years ago and it was a disaster; broken eggs, dead chicks.:(
This time isn't really a disaster, just not good judgment on my part which has left me with unnecessary problems.
