I have you both beat...for lower elevation. I am at 70 ft.....Just call it sea level...

Where I used to live in Key West, the elevation was 3'.

Did she need a bath too when she got in the house?
Fuji would do that if she could. If she stops to roll, it is always something stinky.
A friend of mine had 2 blond labradoodles. Another had a large Rottweiler... that had been having very soft BMs. We were all free running our dogs in the fields I take mine to to this day. One of the labradoodles rolled in a huge, fresh pile dropped by the Rotti. It was awful. I offered him access to my backyard, a hose and some soap but he loaded his dogs up in his SUV as is and took them home!! The stink and mess in the car must have been terrible.

Oh my goodness! I would have definitely taken you up on that offer! I can't imagine the smell. I bet they had the windows cracked

She very badly needs a bath and has needed one. We don't have bathtubs in our house so we hook a hose to the slop sink and run it out the door. Kind of a pain in the butt. Both of the big girls are in need of a good scrubbing! I was glad that the goo she rolled in didn't stink haha. Her hair is so thick that she was still wet the next morning. Hopefully, this weekend we can wrangle them. Love to swim...hate being bathed.

Due to a high water table here I have 3 sump pumps in the cellar. Periodically Dani would decide to wallow in the water from them. If it was warm enough I would hose her off outside. If not she and I would shower together. I've been missing her today.

We had a lab like that. We couldn't keep him out of the swimming pool and when hubs got home from hunting the dog went swimming...the mess in the pool was disgusting and the pool guy was like what the heck happened?

Oh no! Too funny. Taking his own baths in the pool. It's amazing how much grime they can accumulate but they look just fine

They can be disgusting for sure. I don't understand why they roll around in nasty stinky stuff to begin with.
