I honestly do the same thing. Doctors are great, but they are dealing with hundreds of patients. We are only dealing with our own. It allows us a lot more time for analyzing our symptoms & googling the Mayo Clinic & WebMD.
I wonder how long it would have taken him to figure out I have Lyme Disease unless I asked to be tested for it. Takes some doctors years.

Penny I didn't get out of bed till around 1 pm or 1:30 pm. Just too comfortable with the ceiling fan and air conditioning on. It's 80F in my room but, better than 87 like it used to be.

In the basement with computer it is 71F with humidity of 51%. I'm going for a hooded shirt to warm me up.

Go outside for a while, you won't need a sweat shirt.

I have to be careful with this cause sometimes I can be a bit of a hypochondriac. :lau :hide but it is true that most doctors don’t really seem to know much or at least believe people ha although I read something recently from someone asking if it was just them or if other people also think that women doctors seem more caring and listen to them while male doctors usually don’t believe them or listen and there were a surprising amount of people agreeing and sharing stuff about how they switched doctors and were finally diagnosed with stuff while the other doctor never believed them or took forever to diagnose or whatever. Kinda makes sense I guess but of course not all male doctors are like this and not all female doctors are good but it seemed a lot of people thought their female doctor wasn’t more caring ha maybe it’s because most of them were female too? Idk ha

I don't know. I've had good & bad of both genders. My philosophy is if you don't like your Dr. or they cant diagnose you, find another one STAT.

Yeah, I agree. I think everyone’s to quick to be all black and white or generalize genders/people these days haha sure theres good and bad of both like you said. My current one is male and he’s really good. But yeah, I think a lot of people tend to just stick with one doctor for whatever reason rather than try to find a new one.

At the Medical clinic I use, gets a constant stream of residents. The first year ones usually need help from the faculty. But, it seems like those from other countries are VERY UP on their knowledge- both genders. They also listen to what the patient has to say.

Problem is they graduate after their third year and never seen again. Many return to their homeland.
