G'morning cafe. Slept in today! 0430 when the dog laid on my chest and gave me a sloppy wet kiss; I had to get up or die from being smothered.

Gosh, my puppy waited until 7 am to cry!

Thanks for the coffee! I made a fresh pot.

The puppies had fun at the park, then baths and breakfast. They're napping while Igor is being domestic...he vacuumed and is finishing laundry. I did some coop chores and started work on a second mealworm bin. The grass has been cut, a few things watered and it's coming up on lunch time. I feel a nap coming on after a shower before long.

That'll never happen here. Weekends are for going to the park and they know what day it is.

We live in a park, 13 acres of woods with a river. But at 106° we are staying mostly inside today.

Yesterday was my brothers birthday. I'm no longer feeling guilty about not doing the 7hr trek thru the desert at 120*. I sent him some stuff I knew he'd love. He sent me some great pictures & we stayed up late texting each other quotes from the original Jaws movie. Best of all, I slept in my own bed.

Family can be a real PIA & theres a reason I live so far away from mine (for their safety & my sanity) but I do love them.
