Ooooh! A Sparkly!

This was Captain yesterday. He honed in on some little jewels on my shirt when he jumped up into my lap. He had his wings out and was pushing as hard as he could against my hands with his neck stretched out as far as he could reach trying to pluck one off. It reminded me of this scene in The Secret of Nimh.

Okay, that makes sense. None of my uncles were castrated.
From what I can remember the organic certificate took him five years to get. I don't know if this was the norm or because the people who bought the beef were particularly fussy about their reputation.

Tbh, not happy about it at all but it needs doing.
I've got a couple with the sling shot but this chance is too good to pass up.

Rats and city pigeons are the only varmints I like to hunt. I put them in the same class...one is a land rat and one is a flying rat.

Hi cafe. My goodness, I have 6 roosters right now and they're quickly becoming jerks to each other, well the 3 dominant boys are jerks anyway. Two keep looking me over with an appraising eye and giving me that roosterish hey baby look View attachment 1864158
I am sorry about the jerky roosters!
