Hey life is good got 8 eggs today funny 3 of my silky are broody get 1 egg a day one the one I call mud she is black tiny thing she lays the biggest egg of them also

I levered up the rehab coop , so it is closer to level. I could tell the bedding was all going to end up on one side. Hot sweaty work. I also made the window frames so I can get those painted and put up. And worked on the feeder I am making.

Thanks IM. Thankfully we are in a hotel I was watching from the window haha we got here around 8 and the rain and lightning was just starting and really picked up around 8:30. Went for a couple hours. I think it’s over now though.

And yeah me too! And we normally never have really bad ones so I’m not used to them. We’ve had several bad ones lately.

A couple weeks ago we had a big storm when we had all that tropical weather and rain and everything but I was at the mall at the time and didn’t know it was storming till I went to go outside. It was right over the mall and lighting up the whole sky. I walked around for like half an hour and tried a few doors as well as just stood in the doorway trying to work up my nerve to go outside. Finally got up the nerve and ran as fast as I could to my car. Probably a stupid move since it was a pretty bad storm but the mall was closing or already closed at this point and I also wanted to get home. It was pretty late at night. So I just ran out there. Made it perfectly fine though. And then I drove home. Thankfully I don’t live far from the mall but it was pretty scary, though I’ve driven in rain before. But made it before it got really bad. The storm was supposed to get worse so I wanted to get home before it did. Although actually I did sit in my car a little while before leaving because the rain was coming down SO HARD so I waited for it to slow just a bit and be a little safer.

Anyway, probably should stop running around in thunderstorms.
