It's very difficult to say DL.
Knock wasn't showing any interest in the dead chick this morning. She has two live ones to take care of.
I think hens as mums are as hard as nails tbh; they have to be. For most chicken keepers a dead chick is a major tragedy but for hens, and for me to a certain extent, the expectation of survival is low overall. It's why they can hatch so many in a lifetime; not many survive without human assistance.

We had a great thunder storm not allot of rain with it that was day before been quiet otherwise I got up at 11 am been taking benadryl or allergies at night wakes me up late never was long sleeper little weird thanks for the coffee but just one cup here.. Silky will go after me if peep is live but do not give a crap if it is dead
