This is DHs last week home. I'll be meeting his daughter half way to WV and dropping him off for his vacation this Friday. I have such grand plans for my alone time! I'm looking forward to the break.
But until then... off to work I go!

Whoa, nice temps up there! Although as long as the snow stuck around this year you might feel differently.

We're under a heat warning for 3 days this week starting tomorrow. Supposed to get to 114 Tue/Wed

I've taken advantage of being able to breathe outside to get some stuff done.
It's still warm, in the 80's and the mosquitoes are out in force.
I hope to get this back into operation this week. From all the clucking and puffing going on around here I think I'm going to need it.

The idea is while it's on the frame it acts as an independent nest box. The coop and run can be placed directly on the ground and this is great once the chicks have hatched. Mum can get them on to natural ground and still have some security in the run.
