I've taken advantage of being able to breathe outside to get some stuff done.
It's still warm, in the 80's and the mosquitoes are out in force.
I hope to get this back into operation this week. From all the clucking and puffing going on around here I think I'm going to need it.

The idea is while it's on the frame it acts as an independent nest box. The coop and run can be placed directly on the ground and this is great once the chicks have hatched. Mum can get them on to natural ground and still have some security in the run.

Yes I am! This is the end of a 7-day work week and I'm sooooo looking forward to having a couple days off

Whoa, nice temps up there! Although as long as the snow stuck around this year you might feel differently.

We're under a heat warning for 3 days this week starting tomorrow. Supposed to get to 114 Tue/Wed

Ugh, I feel your pain IM...were only 103° to 104°, real temp but the heat index is the 'killer' here, 116 to 119°. this is hot for South Texas...feels like a sauna when outside.

Not lately!
We are losing people left and right. There aren't going to be enough people left to fill the remaining orders on the books and they keep bringing in more and more new part numbers for one of our customers. The customer that is owned by the same company that bought us.
