Dobie Lover :hugs hope this turns out to be what you are looking for.:fl

Thanks, DD, and me too!

I hope the job works out for you DL. It would take a lot of pressure off.

It takes off the financial pressure but adds on the "I gotta learn a lot of new stuff in a hurry" pressure!

There is a flock of 14 wild turkeys - 6 hens and 8 poults - that travel through my yard daily. They hunt crickets/grass hoppers in my front yard and then cross the road into the neighbor's uncut hay field and feed on insects and seeds. Today when they saw me there was no reaction at all. They kept feeding and a couple of the poults were fanning - acting as if I was no threat at all. I'm not. :p

We have flocks of turkey all over our area. One year when I was running my pack of three Dobermans through wooded trails into open fields before hitting my final destination of a gorgeous view of Quaker Lake, Dylan, the black male in my avvy, came upon a hen with about 12 very young poults. It looked like someone set off a poult bomb as they shot off in 12 different directions flying as far as they could. It was a great strategy as the three dogs just stood in the middle of it trying to figure what just happened and what should we do about it. By the time any of them took chase, the turkeys were all well out of range and safe.

No job interview. Just a lead. A lead that apparently might not pan out as I just got a text back from the guy that they won't have positions until later in the year and he's not sure about the PT part. Oh well.

Well poop to that. Sorry Dobie!
Thanks for the coffee, IM! I needed that, as well. Woke up in a bad way this morning :sick, but finally starting to feel better. Phew! How are your chickies doing?

I have the 2 littles in the brooder that are feathering out pretty well, the bigs are crowing like mad or running from the mad crowers lol. Had to postpone butcher to this weekend.
I also have a staggered hatch in my incubator right now with 4 eggs due to hatch in the next couple days so I'm hovering over that to keep an eye on things. I feel
