Thank you, IM. I don't figure they'll be under it an awful lot, since it's quite warm. Curious to see how long it will last them.

Adjust the height every couple of days depending on how fast they grow.

Even in the winter here they usually stop using the plate after about three weeks

That'd be great! I'll be glad to get rid of the heat lamp. Hate those things. Little behind the times on that I guess

By the way, these little munchkins showed up this morning. Were supposed to be here tomorrow and my heat plate is waiting at the post office. Never used one before, pretty self explanatory I imagine? I was laying on the floor in the living room playing ball with the dogs. Frank walked up and literally shoved his tongue down my throat. I had to wipe dog slobber off my face and glasses so I could see to get to the sink!

Yeah, I ordered them in January to get what I wanted My birthday present to me! Got barnavelders, marans, chanteclers, Jersey Giants, blue laced wyandottes, salmon faverolles, austra whites and orpingtons. Pretty excited

Seems I remember Sour saying last week that he and the Princess were going off to see some Little League baseball. I just read that the president of the Decatur, Texas chapter embezzled $70,000.00 from the organization and now the kids aren't going to be able to play this season.
They need to bring back tar and feathering I do believe.
