Our son and SIL would probably starve if forced to cook for themselves. My one grandson is a good cook - the other not so much.

The Son is always around to help or watch I am main cook but these two managed
12 years since his wife passed until I came back around 6 years ago but we made comfort food tonight beef pot pie sirloin cut to bite size... I really excel at gravy of any kind

I am an accomplished crock pot cooker but the roasts are too expensive even if I cut in half and freeze it for another day.

Even most 'married' men will revert to PB&J for all meals if left to their own devices.

Er, um...married women may or may not do that when their husbands are away. Some might go so far as to purchase them prepared and frozen so there's less work involved in making the sandwich too.
