Dorking/Red Ranger chicks. So darn cute! They kind of waddle

Almost 4 weeks old.

I ended up with a single Nn chick last month and got a buddy pullet at the feed store. Said pullet is actually a cockerel, and has extra toes so is destined for the freezer. I also have a little white Turken/Bresse cockerel which makes me happy.

I have one more hatch next month, waiting on shipped eggs

Hope it doesn't turn into pneumonia penny. Maybe a doctor/ER trip is a good idea.

It depends on how the hens lay. Hopefully mostly Turken/ Red Ranger/Dorking mixes, geared toward dual purpose. I'll keep the largest with naked necks, the rest will go to the freezer.
