BYC Café

That is one good thing about owning a big, naturally protective dog. No one tries to steal them.
Although I once came back to the car and found some idiot man trying to reach in the cracked window of my car to try to pet my growling dog. (Before anyone thinks I leave my dog in the car with just the windows rolled down, it was a Prius, it was running, the air conditioning was on and I was only in the store for 5 minutes.)

Good morning, Café.
I slept like the dead after hours digging out the front walkway yesterday. It's almost finished prepping. But still a lot of hard work left so I'm sure I'm going to be creaky for a few days.

Years ago I had this huge long haired German Shepard. He looked ferocious but was the biggest sweetheart and loved to ride in cars. The owner of the country property I rented from was having a house built at the back end of the property and the workmen had to drive down my drive to reach the work site. One of those guys always stopped to pet & play with my dog. I didn't think much of it, he seemed like a nice guy. One day I came home from work and couldn't find my dog. That day coincided with the last working day of that particular guy. Of course I never could prove it, but I always suspected he just drove by, opened the door and the dog jumped in. Never saw the guy or my dog again.
I'd have been livid.

Good morning Café

That’s horrible! I suppose he probably moved away and changed his number so no one could find him. :/

I had a bird dog stolen when I was about 7. Found out a neighbor stole her and took her to a friend of his to breed her...someone found her run over in a town about 50 miles away from me...they called to say they found her...the idiot that stole her didn't have enough sense to take her collar off, or change it after he stole her. :( :hit
