BYC Café

Definitely do the heartworm prevention for all the pups. I did read that the medication could be why her liver enzymes were elevated in May. They weren't a concern at that time though.

The vet said he's checking for thyroid issues and if not, we'll check for Cushings. I don't know what her quality of life would be with Cushings, still researching that. I won't let her suffer but based on her current condition she's happy and active. We're feeding her a third meal for now to keep weight on until we know what's up.

What is Cushings IM (sorry to ask but I'm at work and can't do the research at the moment)?

Looks like a record breaking morning in the Café, but where's the coffee ? Made a couple more pots - have at it. Field trial is done. :yesss: Nothing more at the club until Oct. 16 - 18, and then a neighbor club Oct. 19-21. We are supposed to get rain tonight into tomorrow - we need it.

Poor girl. I hope you get some answers. Glad that she's still active. What kind of dog is she? Midge? That's such a cute name!

Thanks Meg. She's a Silkie. She was destined for the pound but I couldn't let that happen. She's a great little girl, my constant shadow no matter where I go.

Thanks for the coffee Sour! Yay for rain and a few days of rest. Will you running any dogs in the next trials?
