@DobieLover the prednisone is probably causing Ben to drink more, and nerve impingement may be affecting his bladder control. Hopefully the next 48 hours or so will tell the tale.

Saw the Princess in "Murder on the Nile". She does very well as snooty ms ffolliette foulkes - type casting I say. We went out for supper with friends of hers from high school and had a really nice evening.

I doubt if any of my friends from high school are still alive. I was about a year younger than them because I was double promoted in the 2nd. grade to 3rd. My first school at the time used to have 2 semesters a year and wanted to change to just one..

At the new school I discovered they had all learned cursive but, I had not. My teacher said it was too bad, I'd have to learn myself. Well my father wrote out the letters and I learned to copy them. He had bad penmanship and so do I. My mother never bothered to teach us anything :idunno. What a shame, she had beautiful penmanship, played the piano, could speak french and was a great cook.

I think having 3 kids and a husband(like my father) were too much for her. Plus she had panic attacks and agoraphobia which she passed on to me and my sister. My sister passed some of that to her two daughters.

That is true. Gator was on steroids for a while and he had a few accidents but once we started letting him out more often and got him on a schedule it seemed to help. He just was drinking and eating way more so he peed in the house a lot. But we eventually lowered the dose and then stopped altogether and he stopped doing it so I don’t think he necessarily fully incontinent or anything just was drinking way more water and couldn’t hold it especially with the stimulant stimulating his bladder.

trying to configure timing on dinner here sometimes I wonder how I got here making dinner every night being so darn domestic how did that all happen I was a consummate tom boy aligator.gif

He's gone.
I'm sick to my stomach over it. He had declined so much by the time we got home I was shocked.
My friend, Michelle, who owns Ben's best friend, Shadow, met me at the hospital and stayed with me through it all.
He's not hurting anymore.
