Guess what I found when I went to put them away for the night..
The three witches and the two chicks and the two roosters from Tribe 2, all up the Magnolia tree.

It went okay. I put the food down by their coop and Nolia was on it within seconds. Bracket (Miss Neurological) sat on the branch making follow me chick noises and didn't move.
Punch flew down next and when I looked back up the tree to be sure I knew where the chicks were if I had to go up and get them, and looked back down at the feed bowl the lightest colored chick was already there. She must have jumped with Punch.
Finally Mag Hinge and the last chick arrived.
Meanwhile back outside my house one of Mel's chicks I assume was frightened by something and went up a tree. Mel took the other two off to bed eventually but the chick climbed higher.

I feel I have to climb up and get him/her.
I can't get a ladder in a useful position so it's a rope climb. I've done this a few times before. The most difficult thing about it is getting down without hurting the chick. You need both hands up and down. I have an old leather bag which I hang around my neck resting just below my chin. If my head gets knocked off the chicks in trouble!
