Despite my initial pessimistic weather report, the sun has come out and i can't get the layers of clothing off fast enough.

We are down in Plains getting a bite to eat before heading home.
I've too much on my list to do today but ATM feel ambitious.

Good morning cafe. It has been hectic here but starting to mellow out a bit. Haven't had time to get caught up but Dobie I hope you settle in at the new job ok.

I had to put my older dog down, she was loosing weight after gaining a pound back despite increased food. The next day Igor tore a tendon in his ankle while we were walking the pups and I had to go get him in the car. He's been off a couple weeks and goes to see a surgeon Wednesday. I now do pretty much everything myself but I'm finally starting to get into the swing of it all. If it was just me I wouldn't bother to cook though.

In the midst of that I did get the chicks that hatched in August moved to the big coop with the big girls and the chicks that hatched last month are brooding outside. The cool season garden is growing well, rabbit poop is great stuff!

A pair of Robins have taken to visiting. I scared one off with the camera unfortunately. I didn't even notice they were here until I had to encourage one of the chicks off the bookcase.
