I know! Are they still classified as chickens.![]()
I must admit I've not tried one to my knowledge. I did try a small piece of Fayoumie last week and that did not look, or taste anything like store bought chickens.I know!
It is an easy transition though since they will look like what is sold in the store but taste much better.
I have not raised them but do understand why many do. I process the extra cockerels that hatch
6 of 8 have feathered legs! I'm so excited!Nice looking chick! I like the little feathering on the legs.
Good job Sean. Got to respect a man who ***** up properly. The black goes all the way through!![]()
Yep, I admit it, they look like lumps of coal. Completely forgot about them until I smelt them burning!Good job Sean. Got to respect a man who ***** up properly.![]()

I know several peeps that need a lump or two but not that kind of lump!Save those lumps of coal for Christmas. Surely you know someone that deserves a lump or two.

I do like the look of Brahmas. How many left to hatch? Here's my favorite chick that hatched. It's a Brahma mix (local farm fertile eggs).
