Why would you be nervous?

The adult flock has seen these chicks for 3 weeks outside. Somehow they haven't even bugged them at all today. They even let them eat with them and shared their scraps.

My adults are very good with integrating.

I think she thought they were brand new like you just bought them or something. Especially cause it said pick 4/examined all of them but of course you meant pick from your chicks. Cause you’re only keeping some of them right? So these are the keepers not new chicks

In my experience, chickens can still have integration issues when they've seen each other outside versus being in the same coop. Not always, of course, but it happens.

Happy Sunday to you all! Everyone done Christmas shopping yet? :lau
I've done the see but not touch method for 5 years and so far no issues.

I was wondering if the chickens would know it's their offspring :lau

I've done my Christmas shopping, I'll be doing more this weekend.

All the chicks I'm adding are ours. I'm not adding any from other breeders or feed stores. My chicks seem so much healthier. Maybe I'm just bias

I had one bully for a while when I integrated mine, kept chasing the littles forever for no reason, they were scared to come outside for a while cause she’d chase them back in, but eventually she got over it and stopped lol
I was worried about the Jersey Giant Cockerels in my flock, but they haven't done anything yet:fl

Nah I’m sure they are!! I think it probably also helps they didn’t go through the shipping stress or the stress of being in the store, etc.

Well ours and the local farm eggs I hatched. My brahmas I'm OBSESSED with

Are the Brahma mixes the farm eggs or did you already have Brahmas?

That's good you've had no issues :)

I've shopped for one person so far... And maybe myself . Christmas shopping is stressful.
