We just keep getting rain. It's all muddy and disgusting outside. My white chickens look awful and they look ugly I'm wondering if VA will get the S word this year.

Last Christmas gift should be are being today and I'll be done with Christmas shopping!

This might be a long shot... Does anyone own a Kindle? Which one do you have and what features are your favorite?

I have an old one from 2011. It's pretty heavy and bulky. I'm thinking about buying a new one, but I just don't know the differences. Mine is just so dange heavy, if I fall asleep with it in bed, the weight of it falling on the bed wakes me up

Meh, I don't know if this will help. I've got a kindle touch (2014) that I really like. I don't think it's too heavy, but I would prefer the paper white. I'm sure the newer ones are lighter/thinner, though. Depending on which one you get, down to 6oz.

Do you know how much yours weighs?

I looked it up and it said it weighs 413 grams

I read a lot. It's one thing I've really been into for the past few months especially before bed because it helps me sleep through the whole night.

Well, you'd definitely feel the difference there! I'd like the paper white and maybe the backlight feature, but don't care for any of the other capabilities. That was one reason I didn't want the fire. I was afraid my husband would steal it so he could browse the internet He's not a reader so he's got no use for my plain ol' kindle.

I think mine is the Kindle fire from 2011. It's so bulky!

I got Kindle unlimited for 3 months for free and I've been reading like crazy. I just think I need something lighter.

I'm so confused with Amazon because they have something called the all new Kindle and then they have the paperwhite. I don't know what the differences are

The backlight feature sounds nice! I need to do some research!
