Hurry is about to start laying eggs. She's been nest hunting with dad (Cillin) for a few days now and crouched for him for the first time yesterday.

The dressed weight is what matters
I'll have to figure out how to weigh them. I'll ask my husband and see if he has any ideas.
Well I need to make sure they're big enough before I butcher them. I'll wait until 12 weeks to see what they look like and weigh. I know that they weigh less when they're dressed.
Can you wait until 14 or 16 weeks? Or maybe process some at 12 and 16 weeks
I was going to stagger it. Do 5 week 12 or 13. Do 5 week 14 or 15. Do 5 week 16. Then I'll have everyone taste test them to see what age they like best.
That will be a very good test for both taste and size
