Very quiet here. Lovely sunshine and about 19C.
A women rented the house apartment over Christmas and she's been walking around with me as I've visited the various animals.
The main house is in full Christmas mode and haven't come out much which has meant outside is very peaceful.
I'm about to crack open a rather nice bottle of 12 year old single malt scotch whiskey and go and sit with Jenny and Solomon the Muscovy ducks for a bit.

Merry Christmas Café people!!
We have a white Christmas. The warm weather was not able to melt all the snow. Right now everything is covered in frost and it's quite peaceful and lovely out.
Everyone have a wonderful time with those you love, be it human or animal.

Merry Christmas all. We have a partially white Christmas since like @DobieLover not all the snow has melted.

I need it to stay cold enough to keep the ground frozen, but not too snow covered. I need to go out and cut some trees for next year's firewood. It was SO squishy this fall, I thought I could go up the old trail made by previous owner and just made big ruts in the mush and had to back down. I don't have chains for the tractor and don't know how I would get them on anyway. They would be really heavy for a tire the size of the rears on the tractor.
