Yay, the power is on! I can take the chicks out of my shirt!

Brother came round. We've made a decent dent in the scotch. Found out we like some of the same music.
Done the night rounds. Little Tap is on the seniors perch again.
Dinner was okay although I didn't have any flour to make a cheese sauce so no cauliflower cheese. Going for a walk over the ridge with my brother in a bit. It's only a half hour circuit and it's pleasant out.

I need ron's bread - boy does that look good!! Did I mention I have nothing to eat in the fridge or the freezer (honest - no ice cream). Don't get to grocery shop until Thursday when the bus is running again, and stores are open.

Made it! Thank **** that's over. The main house is departing for other party venues in the morning.
Jordie popped up for a bit this afternoon. We captured Mag between us and got his comb sorted and his legs done. Mag is a complete fecker to catch in daylight hours and isn't past trying to dig a spur in given the chance.
Jordie and I got the flood gully cleared in the bottom field which had a couple of trees pulled down from further up the mountain blocking the water flow.
Tribe 3 has been very quiet without Gedit but Notch stepped up this evening at roost time and went into his hens coop tonight. No prompting, no nothing, just went in and settled.
This is me for the night. Got the tunes on.

Yes, for close to 3 hours. Power co. says it was caused by animal activity.
