my mums all would die off in fall too. One fall I took one out and moved it to a bed of hosta - it has survived winters ever since. It's scrawny but every year I pinch it back and if is getting bushy - lovely dark, dark red flowers.
For a minute I read Mom's!

It is great that you are feeling better!

I was up at 6 this morning to pick up my Youngest DD from work. I did just pull a loaf of sour dough bread out of the oven so it was productive time!

Agh, more bread! I can almost smell it :drool Are these knead or no-knead varieties you're making? They are very pretty :)

I don't know what flower this is, but my husband just bought me these earrings. It's a preserved flower

Beautiful! I love me some dangly earrings. I've got an absurd amount. Mostly cheapies, but no matter there. That was an interest I shared with my Grandma. She had picture frames that she made into earring boards that my dad gave to me after she passed. Love them.

High point of the day today was seeing Fat Bird (she's almost ten years old) launch herself off the edge of my roof!:th
Her landing wasn't all that pretty and for one dreadful moment I thought she might have injured herself. Any injury at that age is dangerous.
My roof is a bit over 10 feet above ground. That's quite a jump.
Something had scared her enough to push her to do it but I didn't see what it was.

Oh dear, glad she was unscathed!
