Had a great 10 days with my son, then he lowered the boom. He won't be coming for my birthday in July because he and his GF are going elsewhere. He told me where but guess I was too unhappy to pay attention.

That is the problem with children, life happens and other stuff becomes important. I try not to let it bother me. They will have their turn.

Anyone go out shopping today? There are insane deals everywhere.

I went to the grocery store does that count? They had a sale on one variety of apples, DW's favorite. Except that the sale price was the same as the normal price and the red Sale sign said "You save $0.00". DD1 took a picture and emailed it to Consumer Reports for their "Selling it" feature on the inside of the back cover.

Too funny I've heard it's pretty easy to get a speeding ticket in Canada when coming from the states.

I suppose, if one is an idiot One might notice if they are flying past everyone while going 100 MPH. I guess it could happen in a posted 50 KPH area if there aren't other people around since it would seem quite so extreme.
