BYC Café

I think I said that at least 200 times during the course of the walk!

Thanks for the encouragement everyone. We need it!

I was so proud of her! She needed lots of coaxing to get out of the car and she froze at the same place today that she did yesterday. I had to skip and hop and make such a fuss over how much fun it was to be out there and she finally broke out of it.
She will not walk through un-mowed portions of the fields. The only time I can get her to do that is if un-mowed grass is between her and the car. I'm just trying to let her know it will not hurt her. Every new outdoor experience seems like a first for her. I don't want to overwhelm her.

She is also making tremendous progress with Mogwai. She got hissed at this morning and just pulled her face away and sat down. BIG praise for that.

I have to keep focusing on tiny little steps forward with her. I've only had her 4 short days. She is such a good dog.
I would like to reply but I'm afraid I'm blinded by that array of badges.:love

Hardity har har har. But thank you. It is certainly an honor to receive it. I was surprised actually. I've been known to hit Post Reply after having typed with a malfunctioning censor switch.
I'm so thrilled with my little Bella Mcgella that she is all I can focus on at the moment. I hit the lotto with this girl.

I've tried bashing mine with a hammer but I think it needs replacing.
Quite right to be thrilled, she's much more important.

Well then maybe that is the way you slowly get her used to new scary things. She knows the car is safe and is willing to chance the danger to get there.

Headed out to see what kind of trouble I can cause in the coop this morning second cup down took chicken thighs for dinner have no plan after that
Hmmm, if you went to the coop and came back with chicken thighs, I'd say you caused a lot of trouble! ;)
