BYC Café

The couple that is adopting Sarge came to visit him again today. They brought meal worms and even Fabio ate from the husband's hand. Sarge goes home on Friday. I think he'll be relieved to not have to constantly look over his shoulder for his father or Captain. Over the course of the hour long visit, he got the boots put to him 5 times.

We also got to talking about meat birds. There is a farm not too far away that will process for a fee. I want to find out if they will just "do the deed" and my friend and I can process them ourselves. Then I'll have a plan in place for any boys I get this year.

@CapricornFarm if you get some more of these around the time of swaps (after March) I'll buy 2 pullets off of you! I love ones that look like they have hats. This is my favorite chicken in my yard. Her name is Blue Footed Booby (it's a name of an actual bird)

Can you keep me updated on when it is? I've never been to that one. I love the one in Midlothian, I'll be selling at that one most likely.
I will look it up for you. First Saturday in May and the 3rd Saturday of September.
