I can understand shooting the dog that killed the farm animals, but what did the car do to the shooter?

I think the farmer was a bit angry.
The funniest part is apparently the police went to visit the farmer, I presume to arrest him and got their police car stuck in a ditch blocking the only car track to the farm. I bet it's busy up there.

Live plants in place. Water will clear up once I get the filter going. Once I get the moss in, I will top off with more water.

I kept an aquarium for about 25 years but sold it when we started flipping houses. I was always upsizing my aquarium. The last one I had was 37 gallons and had about 8 species of live plants and an assortment of neons, tiger barbs, bleeding heart tetra, rummy nose tetra and a male betta. Also some red cherry shrimp and trumpet snails.
I've shared pictures of the pond we built complete with frogs and toads. Once we brought in a few tadpoles in from the pond to eat debris out of the aquarium. One morning I found two frogs the size of my fingernail hopping around the kitchen floor.

Dare I mention the blue skies and sunshine here. It's a bit chilly at 57F.
Local drama here is on the next mountain a farmer shot two dogs that killed one of his goats and a couple of hens. The person who owned the dogs had parked their car on a track further up the mountain. The farmer found the car and shot out all four tires and smashed all the car windows.

Chilly at 57F? Silly boy, that's a heat wave this time of year!

Taking out the dogs while in the act if killing your animals I get. I've been involved with the same situation and both dogs where shot.
Taking out the tires and windows on the owners car... well, maybe consider joining an anger management support group.
