Dare I mention the blue skies and sunshine here. It's a bit chilly at 57F.
Local drama here is on the next mountain a farmer shot two dogs that killed one of his goats and a couple of hens. The person who owned the dogs had parked their car on a track further up the mountain. The farmer found the car and shot out all four tires and smashed all the car windows.

Wow! I wonder if the cost of the damage to the car is equal to the cost of the dead animals?

It's not just the units; it's the spelling as well. The spell check speaks American apparently. So, I write for example flavour and the spell check tells me I'm an uneducated oaf and can't spell. So have some of the other posters on BYC come to that.
Americans have z's while the English have s's. Some words the spell check doesn't even recognise and when it comes to common English slang; which I use a lot in speech, the auto correct turns into complete gibberish.

Shad, maybe word will get out that the farmers in your neck of the woods are "Angry!" and people will go somewhere else to run their dogs. It also could have been the 10th goat that he has lost recently and he had just had enough of the BS... I guess I am with the farmer! DH shot the neighbor's dog with rubber buck because it was trying to get into the chicken pen two days ago. I think all 4 or 5 of their dogs have now been peppered and warned. Next time we are calling the sheriff if my other neighbor doesn't do it first.

We had a great time playing in the 60-degree weather so I guess we are defrosted enough to deal.
Our low is only supposed to get to 8F in a couple of nights. Time to restock the firewood!

I suppose that is frustrating I'm pretty certain most at the Café know that you guys pop in weird "U's" after "O's" and "S's" where "C's" or "Z's" ought to be, and they are still actual words. Don't know what to tell you about the American computer, though

The problem with grammar Nazis is a lot of them have no business telling others what they said wrong or spelled wrong!
