What are maple bars!?

Apple fritters are good.

This is what I think of for a maple bar...it's a doughnut-type thing with maple glaze.\

Unfortunately she didn't. It was kids day at the market. People were very interested in looking at them & touching them & told her how beautiful they were, but no one was spending any money on anything that expensive. All cash went to the really little kids whos parents had made punch, cookies, popcorn & were selling them for $1. Sad because there were some incredibly talented teens there, whos egos must've taken a hit that day. (I'm also not a fan of parents doing the work & then passing it off as their kids did it, but that's a whole other rant.)

Yeah, lots of arts and craft shows are like that, been there, done that. People like to look but it's hard to sell stuff at a profit.

I still have 2 that haven't molted yet. And one desperately needs to. Her feathers are shot. She's probably waiting until we get sub zero weather so she can have me worrying over her.

My white silkies are moulting so hard that you can see their black skin.
