One thing we have to remember in this journey is that misinformation is worse than no information at all. The true measure of intelligence is knowing our limitations and being willing to accept help.
I accept help when offered, such as: May help you, you seem a bit confused, let me help you figure this out?
I don't get that, I get forced.

My Dad always did a lot of yelling and always took everything personally. It took me a long time until I reached the point where I would not permit someone to ruin my day.
Yep. But, once you get there, you find the journey was worth the effort!!!

Amen, amen, amen. :bow:clap

We can not effectively control others so it is important to control ourselves.

Also, accept and love ourselves regardless of someone else's opinion. Other people's opinions really come from their own experience, not ours.

That doesn't work well for me, I am a Capricorn. Stubborn all day long.

Personally, I like to share my thoughts and opinions with my friends....and I want them to feel free to share with me without tip-toeing around. I want them to know where I'm coming from, to share my experiences, my reasons why, my thinking......and I want to understand theirs.
If someone is not my friend, I don't bother to share because I don't care to invest in a relationship. There has to be give and take for there to be friendship. We all want respect....we all deserve respect. We are all here because we share interests....but each of us comes with rich experiences that can benefit us all. I feel privileged to be able to pull a chair up to this table!
I'm the same way. My only friends is my family.

That's a biggy. Never let someone else's evaluation of you become your evaluation of yourself.
