We had oranges and grapefruit trees in Florida. Nothing like fresh fruit!

So, we've had 170mm of rain in 48 hours.

That's a lot of rain in 2 days.

Both tracks are impassible with a vehicle currently.

That would be typical of my flock but I guess the 8 June pullets embarrassed a few of the older girls into laying much earlier. I got 10 eggs today.

It's still a huge egg for her to be starting back up with. It weighed 80g.

I know. I miss stuff all the time because the site doesn't bring me to the first unread post, just the one I click on in my alerts.

I don't bother with the alerts, I "live" on the Forums page and just click "Watched", it takes me to the first unread post of the thread when I click on the title.

Well, they sell fertile eggs here and I could not resist!

I hatched a lot of them too

And then you get to guess what breed of bird they are after they hatch!

Florida, I can understand having citrus trees but South Central Texas, too cold for them...I'm about a 150 miles from the Valley...they grow plenty of them there.
