My doctor says no, things other than water don't count. Plain water, 6 to 8 cups, every day is a must.
That's what I always heard too. Maybe that's changed

My son and his family have 6 dogs. When you're an animal lover it can be hard to say no right? He's his mother's son for sure.I believe everything I hear on BYC (well....almost). I was in danger of "dog math" for a few years until I put my "must wait 5 years between dogs" rule in place. Now I'm good. Max of 4.
Chupacabra!Better than the Sears "Wish Book" (remember that?)
I'm not sure how much "training" this dog has had. I would say he has been reasonably well socialized with people (complete stranger grabbed him, half strangled him, dragged him around by his collar and he never even growled at me) but even when he didn't have his sights set on my minis, he completely ignored those kids (other than to dodge when they tried to grab his collar). Near as I could tell, he had no recall (at least, as far as the kids were concerned).
@MysteryChicken - sorry, it's a mystery to me. My best guess is chupacabra?
Yup me too. Do you put those flavor things in it? I can't stand those. That's what I always heard too. Maybe that's changedEither way, I love water so no problem for me to drink that much (or twice that much).
We have already put plastic on the top so it stays dry. That's the main thing. But, honestly, I paid a whopping $150 for this one because I needed something for a see/don't touch as I brought a hen out of sick bay. DH was traveling so much I hated to ask him to take a Saturday to build yet another coop. I think if you pay a little more than I did, you would get a little better quality, but honestly, cheap wood makes for flimsy coops. Once I have the big coop, the other 3 will work for my segregation and integration needs. Can you do some maintenance on that little prefab and whip it into shape Valerie? I'm seriously considering one as a jail in case one of these boys gets crazy.
The recommendation is to not drink much soda but like we said in other posts, if it works for you go for it!Good, I'm a big fan of Dr Pepper.........And chickens
I know!People don't believe in chicken math until it happens to them.
Yup me too. Do you put those flavor things in it? I can't stand those.
That's a result.Good morning, everybody! Thanks for the coffee. I reheated some of that frittatta. Delish!!!
Yay! The gnats are gone! Now can we get rid of that alien man-eating plant?
@Bunnylady, how is your little goat today?
Simply adorable!!!
I had a breakthrough with the cockerels last night! I switched which pen I had them in and both went in to their coops for the night on their own!!! Woot! No more shuffling cockerels! No more trying to get warring factions to sleep together!!! And Alice and Abby went into Lucy's coop with no problems, ON THEIR OWN!
You said you have soda with a burger once in a while...is that an In N Out burger?I know!
