I plan to really pare down my possessions. I've been in the house 25 years and I just have so much "stuff" I don't need. I will do my best to make it work. Plenty of land/space to build whatever shed/coop I choose.

My Mom had divested herself of most of her 'stuff'. My in-laws on the other hand left a full house that became our responsibility to sort. The Princess and I are trying to set things up so that it will be easier for our kids. If and when it becomes necessary we will really downsize and move to an assisted care facility. Lord, that's a horrible thought for me.

Yep, it's a Chupacabra!

Nope, this is a Chupacabra.

Actual taxidermied body that had genetic studies done on it. Results of the genetic tests: Father was a Mexican Wolf, & Mother was a Coyote.
Had to share it.

Chupacabra means Goat Sucker.

Nope, not leapord, or Serval. Fur is the wrong color, spots are wrong.

Hint: They scavenge, Steal, Woops at night, has a mane, & looks like a canine but isn't.

I figured you, being a fair bit younger than most here, would be one who did not know.
SST - Super Sonic Transport Concorde. Really fast (and expensive tickets) plane that flew across the Atlantic. Flew from 1976 to 2003. They weren't allowed to fly SS over land since the sonic booms would be highly irritating, thus the "only over the Atlantic" routes. Maybe if I had mentioned Concorde you would have known.

I'm going before DW if it kills me! She won't divest of much of anything. If she goes first I'll again have to deal with all her "treasures" that haven't been used or looked at for a decade or two ... or more.

Five Guys here is edible - they give you entirely too many fries. Will not eat burgers? at any ot the other fast food places. Here Wendy's has a great chicken sandwich, and Chik Fil A is very salty, but not too bad. Not a big fan of fast food.

I had to go through and dispose of my mother's belongings....and my mother - in-law was a borderline "hoarder". I don't want my kids to have to wade through stuff I have that I could do without. Once you get a lot of the stuff out, it's also easy to keep house.... Yes, Sour, it's a terrifying thought for us all. One of the reasons I'm moving is that having family close may help me stay in my own home longer. We can't control the future, but we can try to look ahead and make choices that should pay off later. I know you understand what I mean.
