BYC Café

Morning, cafe! Thanks for the coffee. Beautiful day so far and supposed to be in the 40's for the next 10 days. This weather has me planning all my gardening adventures this year.

All you mum keepers out there: when is a good time to re-pot? My plant is getting ready to bloom again, so I'm not sure if I should wait or if it matters.

Hi Meg!

I always used to plant my mums in the spring when I lived in KS, don't now if that's the right way to do it for MT. But mine always grew well and bloomed great.

I've been too afraid to put this one outside! I know I should in the summer, but I'd hate to kill it. Err... Again. My brother and nephew gave it to me a few years ago for my birthday and ive always kept it inside. I thought it was dead once, but it miraculously came back to life! (Water anyone??)

I thought maybe she was due for a bigger pot and some better soil. Did you have to bring yours in for the winter or were they perennial there?
