I love when chickens have the crests like my polish. I call them hats she can see very good, so far I haven't had to trim anything away from her eyes.

Silkies wouldn't last at my house with sky predators because their visual isn't good enough.

And I think it makes them look silly Different strokes for different folks. Obviously they are popular with many or they wouldn't be around.

These guys can see, I've never had to trim their fluff above their eyes.

Only the ones that I got from a SQ Silkie Breeder I have to trim which is good. Triming all of their fluff above their eyes will be exhausting. I have alot of Silkies.
