I'm very impressed with my rose bush. It's got loads of buds!

Your rose bush and some of Tribe 1 are looking lovely!
I have two Knockout rose bushes planted in the pen. They eat the buds as they start to form on the lower branches but the upper part of the bush does okay.

Captain will probably have a few goes at Fabio. Here this seems to be the norm. Eventually the junior accepts his place. It can look a bit tough but in the end it makes for a peaceful flock. With luck Captain will learn to attract a couple of the junior hens and that will help keep the peace.

He did it again after he knocked Fabio off Amelia. Fabio came off limping but still did battle. I broke them up again and like a pair of fighting dogs they each turned their aggression on me. But no one got hurt.

Auntie Astrid was the first to visit. She was also the first to visit Barb's kids.

At my place it has always been Auntie Anais who helped raise the chicks whether they were MHP raised or raised by Zorra, Anais was always there to help.

The flowers have a lovely colour; do they also have scent? Some modern roses are very disappointing from that perspective, but that one looks a bit traditional, and some of them smell good enough to eat!

It's an old style Quince bush.

Do you harvest the fruit for quince jelly or paste? Or are they not worth the effort (like mine)?
