We're coming into a heat wave next week and I am not looking forward to it.
I have a strong suspicion that my mom's house has no insulation in the walls and I'll be installing that in the not too distant future.
DH leaves for a near 3 week vacation in one week!!

73°F (23°C) this morning - that's was passes for "cool" here at this time of year. Heading for a high around 90 (32) today; there are some splash-and-dash thunderstorms rumbling through the area that are expected to dissipate as the day goes on (which is actually weird; normally, the storms develop in the afternoon as daytime heating lifts the soggy soup that passes for air skyward).

Wow, where does he go? Mine used to go to Canada to see his relatives, but then Covid happened.
