You be careful with that tree clearing aart.
That's scary. I'm glad you didn't get any damage to structures.
Will you do the cut up and removal or hire it out?
It was scary, it only lasted about 15 minutes, dark and pouring rain, and didn't hardly register until next day when I could actually see what happened, more grateful each day as I see the other damages nearby.
I'll have to hire it out, my chainsaw days are long over, plus I'll need to have the stuff chipped...too bad I don't need chippings for the chicken run...have a huge pile already, but might find a place for them, might endear me to the tree service.
Who knows when that'll get done tho, LOTS of tree work around, for folks in much more dire need than I.

Exactly...no AC here.
Just really glad the power's back on so I have ice and fans and cold showers.
Gonna have to take some rides in the van if I get to feeling too bad.

93° in the shade and humid. Idk what that equates to, but way too hot. What were we doing today? Working on the goat house! Wanted to stop for a break at 3 , but hubby wasn't into it. So I went and gave all the birds electrolytes in their water. Then back at it. Finally, 2 and 2/3 sides of the house have plywood on... came in at 5 pm.

Hey there all had to go see if I could replace plants eaten I think by squirrels
I bought started plants no greenhouse to start my own this time every time I put brussle sprouts out something is eating them .. Did find two packs of 4 at a local nursery one green one red covering them with chcikens wire or hardware cloth

Gotta get er done Cap, the goaties are coming!!! But it looks like you don't have much more to do with regard to getting sides on it. Other than not being able to lock them in, the goats would mostly be out of the rain.
Lots of time left, we have until July 10th!
